Dragonborn By Jade Lee

When dragon power flows through your veins, when dragon thoughts burn in your mind, you can accomplish anything. Natiya knows, for she carries one of the last eggs in the land disguised as a jewel in her navel. Day by day the Unhatched grows, and when at last it births they will be joined in a sacred and eternal bond. Gone will be the barmaid forced to dance for pennies; born will be Dag Natiya, revered Queen. Take her body or her soul, nothing will stop them.

In this renascence-romance novel by Jade Lee-Dragons take on human forms, planting an egg in the dragonborn's navel which slowly consumes them and turned them into a king or queen of the dragons. The prince of the realm, Kril, saw his uncle get killed get by one of the dragonborns. From that day on, he vowed to exterminate every last dragonborn as vengeance for his uncle. He is almost done-after doing the worst deed of his life. He had to kill a seventeen year old boy taken over by the spirit of the dragon. He finds the last one-the only thing standing in the way of vengeance  but before he can finish her, he ends up falling in love. To see the end of Dragonborn, you need about $10 and a Barns and Noble. I would definitely recommend this as a great read, and an amazing romance-thriller.

Hey I am just putting this out to let you people know that i encourage you to post comments so we can get feed back from our followers and readers. Please feel free!

The Thirteenth Reality series

The Thirteenth Reality series is a great series about a boy named Tick and his adventures with the reliants. At times the book can seem daunting or big even confusing but in the end it all ends up okay. In the fist book The Journal of Curious Letters Tick starts getting mysterious letters which will untimely bring his true destiny.
In the next few books Tick's destiny is played and in the end of every book there is always a big fight scene. At the very end of the last and final book Tick reaches his destiny along with another person you would never expect and together they heal the world in a very odd way.

I HATE THE ENDING OF PRODIGY

I threw the book at the wall when I finished it. I hate the ending.

But it is a great book. It's a really good book. The cliffhangers drove me crazy though. I don't usually mind them, but for some reason this ones made me so angry at the author. (Sorry Marie Lu)

Anyway, here's a little extra thing for everyone. I walked out to the library to see Lizzie, Addi, and Kendra all reading in a row. Great sight. For privacy, they covered their faces. It's from the right, Addi, Lizzie, Kendra.

Can't sleep, so I'm reading!

Good exchange I think. Pretty far in now.

Thanks for reading the random post,

Pillage

Pillage

Pillage is an awkward child in the dragon fantasy genre. Although Pillage includes your regular elements (i.e. magic, powers, dragons etc.) it also takes place in modern times. This can lead to some confusion for the characters when these two clash. This also adds the funniest scenes to the book. Also, at the start of each chapter you read an excerpt of the mysterious book The Grim Not. In Pillage you follow the seemingly average Beck, a high school boy, as he explores his uncle's huge garden and discovers what is behind the mysterious locked doors, learning more about himself and about his family's history than he ever wanted to. This book is for fans of dragon fantasy and to those who want to watch what unfold in this book full of mystery

Sea of Trolls and House of the Scorpion (Nancy Farmer post)

Hey everyone! Once again, it's not a bookclub day. I was thinking about a post I could do today and thought about Sea of Trolls. Sea of Trolls is one of my all time favorite books, but not everyone knows it as well as they know another of the authors books, House of the Scorpion. I was meaning to make this post about Sea of Trolls, but I guess I'll do one for Nancy Farmer's best books. (In my opinion)

PLEASE DO NOT BE INTIMIDATED BY THE LONG POST! IT'S WORTH IT!

I'm going to start with Sea of Trolls. Like I said, this is one of my all time favorite books. One of the things that I hated about the ending is that there will never be a sequel. It doesn't end on a cliffhanger, but I grew to love the characters so much I wanted to see them develop more. I'll summarize Sea of Trolls for you, then move on the House of the Scorpion.

Jack thought he was just an ordinary farm boy until he became an apprentice to the local bard – who is teaching him music, but also the magic of the Life Force. When his village is attacked by Viking berserkers, and he and his little sister are taken as thralls, he doesn’t know the perils in store for him – in order to survive and maybe get home, he’ll have to learn to deal with the Northmen, face down dragons, brave the perils of troll country, and learn more about magic than he ever thought possible. I tried to make my summary as small as possible, but there is so much more to the book then that little tiny summary says.

I enjoyed House of the Scorpion, but it was a bit strange. The book is one of the more confusing books I have ever read, in my entire life. Considering the amount of books I found in the library when I was in elementary school, that's saying something. Putting the confusion past me, I did enjoy the book. I'll try and do a short summary, but considering the book is about 400 pages, I might struggle.

The House of the Scorpion is set in a future where cloning is possible yet clones are despised by humans. In fact, clones have their brains destroyed shortly after their creation. Young Matt, however, is the unaltered clone of a drug lord known as El Patrón, the evil but aging ruler of Opium, the strip of land that separates Mexico and the United States. Matt’s existence switches between different varieties of captivity – from a peaceful but secluded childhood raised by the kind Cecilia, to living like a caged animal at the hands of the malevolent Rosa, to a life as the subject of contempt by El Patrón’s family. Even when Matt leaves the estate he is held in another kind of captivity as a member of the “lost children” who work the salt mines. I read this a while back, so I can't remember the rest of the book. I remember the end, but I'm SO not ruining this for you.

Anyway, I think I finally finished this post. I hope you guys like it!

Yours,
Nora

The Molly Moon series

The Molly Moon series is an epic tale of a girl named molly moon and her hypnotic adventures  The series is fast paced full of action and weird places along with epic hypnotism battles. In the third book which is personally my favorite she ends up in India with a strange monster-like person. The author is  Georgia Byng. I have to say it is by far my favorite action series and of course i think her pet pug is adorable.
